Daniel Cormier: "Fedor is a myth bigger than what he is, a tall tale."

I think Cormier would lean into some kicks. Daniel had VERY patterned defense.

Secondly he would avoid taking fedor down due to his BJJ, so this would be a kickboxing fight where fedor would be the most explosive, harder hitting, and technical guy.

dc wouldn’t survive a cro cop stand up fight. Fedor dominated it
Randleman also would have absolutely wrecked DC.

Stipe isn’t even #2. He might be 3, or maybe 4.

Werdum is clearly number 2.

How exactly? When they actually fought Stipe beating the shit out of him definitely doesn’t help his case.

Prime for prime Cormier would beat Fedor.

How? Fedor is better at Judo and BJJ and is a superior striker with endless cardio. Fedor only losses to superior strikers he would not be able to takedown like say Ngannou or only losses to someone who is a superior grappler which is only Werdum.

Get taken down and get the shit beaten out of him like Silva did.

DC just salty his teammate Josh Thompson said DC and Crain's resume is nothing compared to Fedor.

People go crazy when you say this, even when it is obvious. Just shows that Fedor definitely has that Michael Jordan level mythos. Even if he is the greatest, which I don’t believe he is, people are absolutely blinded by separating him from anyone ever in everything. Being a biggest legend doesn’t mean that you are the greatest fighter.

Anybody who thinks Fedor would have beaten DC/Cormier in a cage are delusional. They would have a huge advantage in the clinch and know how to use it.

In JMMA Fedor would be a favorite because even with a performance like in the Maldonado fight he would have won.

Lol at 17-16 Randleman wrecking Cormier.
Randleman was a 2 x UFC HW champion before Cormier was even in the Olympics. I would argue that Randleman's NCAA record is equally impressive. Outside of his BJJ, he didn't have many weaknesses.

Chael came to his senses.

By saying it’s based on popularity and not reason?

His conclusion is it’s because Fedor is well liked and that makes him get it over fighters that are more talented.

Stipe is the greatest UFC HW for sure, but the greatest MMA HW is Fedor and it honestly isn't even close

DC is right, although I don't think Fedor is even top five.

Dana definitely paid DC to say this sadly.

He's a company man now.

This doesn't reflect his real feelings.

Perhaps in terms of skill, you could argue others are better, but as an all time great there's no basis to question fedor's legacy.
