Decent wins for the era and his youth, and I don't rate Dempsey or Marciano particularly highly given HW is the division that has changed the most with time as far as athletes and size.

I don't have a problem if someone doesn't have Tyson in their Top 10, the top half or two-thirds of that list are pretty set, but after that it's dealer's choice mostly.
 
He’s competing with SAS for worst take. DC knows what generates views, he’s a pro wrestling fan.
 
No Jones, Foreman?

A more accurate title for this list would be Top 4 fighters all time DC is friends with+Muhammad Ali.

My god this snake owes Jones car accident his whole championship and TV career he bashes him every oppurtunity he gets.

Floyd over Foreman hurts my soul as much as a Foreman punch would hurt my head.
 
It's silly to mix MMA and boxing, call it top 5 combat sports list, not include wrestling, kickboxing, etc.

Even sillier is Nunes being in there. An obvious diversity addition. Nunes has an argument for female GOAT but she doesn't fit with the rest of that list.

Top 5 apples and oranges.
 
DC is biased so its not surprising he doesn't respect Jones' accomplishments. Stephen A. Smith however is a brain-dead idiot as far as mma is concerned and I think ESPN made a poor decision in trying to have him cover it.

In terms of raw talent and ability, he's probably one of the scariest boxers to ever exist. In his prime, you could argue him beating almost any fighter to ever exist.

His accomplishments are another matter though. He simply didn't have the level of opposition to put him on any list.

By the time he started fighting truly elite guys, he was already a shadow of himself.

Boxers are over represented in these types of lists. Buvaisar Saitiev, Sadulaev, and Alexander Karelin are the greatest wrestlers of all time, yet they’re never included included in these lists.

Also, Khabib is the best fighter of all time. Deal with it
