I had my gun on me at a county fair once. I chose not to go on any of the rides (it can be fun to act like a giant kid with your wife and friends at times) because I didn’t want to chance mine being jostled loose even with a good kydex holster. Just said my stomach wasn’t feeling the greatest as is and offered to hold the bags/purses while they went on each

Edit: one other thought for how amazingly irresponsible this is: don’t off duty fbi have to have a retention strap on their holster? I believe cops do (unless it’s a by department thing) and I know secret service requires this as my friend complains that he has to use a pancake holster outside his belt and a bigger shirt because he can’t find an inside the waistband one that meets SS requirements even though he loves the molded appendix one he has
