interesting as this gives khabib leverage, it would be best if conors next fight was open for a few options so the ufc could squeeze the fighter on purse/compensation - maybe they are losing control over conor and are trying to pressure him a bit instead

Any casual will tell you that they would love to see Conor vs. GSP or Conor vs. Diaz III. That's what makes UFC the most money.
