fedor would have had just as many title defenses if all his pride fights were title fights, pride had a different format than the ufc.

Fedor has less top wins by a large margin. And if any of those Pride fights where title fights it would have been a travesty. Fedor's title defenses + Grand Prix wins still is less than Anderson's title defenses

Anderson is a scary fighter, but I think if anything Sonnen proved that stylistically he's been very fortunate in this part of his career. If his division were flooded with elite wrestlers who don't brain-fart as hard as Sonnen does, like WW or LW, his P4P status would likely be far more questionable.

Oh it's damn close and Silva is nowhere near 220lb unless he's fat on vacation. Fedor fought the best competition was almost always undersized. I'm a huge fan of both. To shit on Silva or Fedor isn't right. I'm gonna have to give the edge to Silva in p4p though.
