Always amusing going through the posts in these threads, I love this idea that man that is likely worth half a billion dollars....is going to stress out over anyone losing any fight.

Khabib was able to out-strike pretty much all of his opponents, because they were so worried about the takedown.
To lose to Ankalaev that way is shameful, because Ankalaev is a striker first and not NEAR the wrestler Khabib was.
Did Pereira watch any tape at all? Or was he too busy dressing up in costumes and appearing at every party?
I have nothing against Pereira personally, but after the way every sucks on his nob and the insufferable hype, I am so happy to see him lose.

Khabib also fought alot of cans, Alex has faced way better competition than Khabib and Alex has won 2 belts.

Of course Dana is mad he’s got the most boring fighter in LHW with the belt now who prior to this fight hasn't beaten anyone.

Dana has lost so many golden gooses they've had. I honestly don't think it's anything but an inconvenience. Over the years I've seen them lose the stars like Chuck and Tito and a new generation fills the gap. Alex probably draws a lot, but nothing like what UFC used to have.

The Champs are Jones (USA) & Aspinall (UK), Ank (RU), DDP (SA), Belal (Palestine), Islam (RU) was Topuria (Georgia), Merab (Georgia), 125 is Brazil.

Women's you have China, Kyrg/Russia and Pena (USA).

The UFC wanted global expansion and they have it, so yeah there's way less USA Champs. You'd think they'd be making more money overseas, but most of the Champs are actually from tiny markets with little money (Georgia, Dagestan, South Africa, Palestine).

If they want fighters from rich countries I think they need to pay more. Until then you aren't going to see as many high end USA/UK/France/Canada/Japan/German athletes pursuing MMA IMO.

Earning 30k/year in hopes of making bank at age 30, IF things go well, isn't going to be that attractive. But if your dad is a rural goat herder or you grew up in a favella, that's a great option.

You're not wrong. I like Alex though. I'm not happy to see him lose. It is interesting though, how many people in this forum want to see Alex protected from people with better MMA skills than he has. Dana White included. The people selling this shit and some supposed MMA fans, seem to forget that this is MMA.

He acts like that in many press conferences. Not only this one. Sometimes a question he thinks is inconvenient or dumb is asked and he makes some weird sarcastic laughing faces, while blinking and trembling with the mic at his hands... Kinda weird.

He is also acting goofy sometimes... Recently, like, some weeks ago, he was saying about Jon Jones in a podcast and he said like "JJ is the best, like... He never lost a fight!! Think about that!!" ... He talked like he was all excited telling someone a story that no on knows lol. He also said "Jon Jones is a killer. I mean, he likes to train his dogs, he shoots guns!!" .... Lmao.... Idk if he is serious or if he is trolling so his comments end up going viral. I think he's kinda exaggerating on purpose to laugh at the reactions. I think even JJ himself must be thinking "Damn, Dana is already embarrassing me with this goofy talk..." Lol.
