I mean, Ankalaev basically destroyed his money-drawing dream match between Jones and Pereira…
We need a pic of thatHis face when he was looking at Buffer's paper before he said the decision was like he had seen death
If I could ban you for this post , I wouldThe champion, a vicious marauder who can force a man’s back to be grated against the cage for 25 minutes straight, even worse is when he makes these guys involuntarily wall sit. The scrapes on the backs of contenders has become an intimidating instance for any of the LightHeavyweights vying for the title and the bloody back of the opponent a staple of Ankelaev’s sheer Ultimate Fence Clinching dominance. He grates these men against the cage as if they were a piece of cheese, and even if they defend the takedown the wall is a much more uncomfortable place for a fighters back then the canvas.
Ankelaev leaves his opponents with scars that they just need a mirror to see, scraped knees from the defended takedowns…
Khabib also fought alot of cans, Alex has faced way better competition than Khabib and Alex has won 2 belts.Khabib was able to out-strike pretty much all of his opponents, because they were so worried about the takedown.
To lose to Ankalaev that way is shameful, because Ankalaev is a striker first and not NEAR the wrestler Khabib was.
Did Pereira watch any tape at all? Or was he too busy dressing up in costumes and appearing at every party?
I have nothing against Pereira personally, but after the way every sucks on his nob and the insufferable hype, I am so happy to see him lose.
Dana has lost so many golden gooses they've had. I honestly don't think it's anything but an inconvenience. Over the years I've seen them lose the stars like Chuck and Tito and a new generation fills the gap. Alex probably draws a lot, but nothing like what UFC used to have.
You're not wrong. I like Alex though. I'm not happy to see him lose. It is interesting though, how many people in this forum want to see Alex protected from people with better MMA skills than he has. Dana White included. The people selling this shit and some supposed MMA fans, seem to forget that this is MMA.Khabib was able to out-strike pretty much all of his opponents, because they were so worried about the takedown.

He acts like that in many press conferences. Not only this one. Sometimes a question he thinks is inconvenient or dumb is asked and he makes some weird sarcastic laughing faces, while blinking and trembling with the mic at his hands... Kinda weird.Maybe he's mad Alex lost. But at the start of the press conference his wrists were rattling and his eyes were blinking constantly
Then they asked him about powerslap and he calmed down
Am I the only one who noticed that?
