Dana White said he would kill himself if...

If he "controls" the USADA results why admit to the picogram findings at all, dummy?

if you can show the fail but explain the narrative it makes you look much more honest and legit than covering it all up and it comes out much later. You still get to do your job and look legitimate while letting your champ skate by .

Do you understand, dummy? or are layered concepts like these beyond your comprehension?

Jones is obviously an easy target because of all his previous issues, but he would have to be a special kind of stupid to have used any peds leading up to the Gus fight. The level of scrutiny on him was so high, there's no way he would've risked yet another failure.
Maybe he just hates fighting. Personally he can't quit, so he's creating a situation where organizations and commisssions won't allow him fight.

How did Jones cancel an event exactly? Did he make the fight card and promote how "can't miss" it was and then when 1 fight falls through deside it would cost them more to go ahead with it anyway then they would make on it because it was way to weak to be a PPV in the first place?

From where I'm sitting Jones isn't the one responsible for that at all and Dana (Zuffa) only have themselves to blame which of course they will never do so insead throw one of there stars under the bus for a week before going right back to telling us how "can't miss" the card he's on 3 weeks later is and how big a star and great a fighter he is.

The fact anyone can not see how ridiculous that whole situation was and that the UFC was 100% to blame is mind boggling.

From where I'm sitting a GOAT (or any respectable top-tier fighter) fights Chael at MW as a late replacement for extra cash, Dana owes you a favor, the fans trip isn't ruined, and the rest of the roster gets paid. Everyone gets paid. Every coach, nutritionist, teammate and family member associated with the card got nothing (It's not Jones responsibility waaaah, if you can fight under-40 Hendo you can fight Chael.) Jones had the money and sponsorships to go home, no other fighter did. He is a selfish dick not only afraid of HW, but short-notice MW Chael as well. Jackson said he shouldn't do it? YEAH RIGHT. Chael? How people continue to stand-up for this guy is mind-boggling. Real old-school MMA GOAT shit.

There’s literally no evidence he hates fighting or the spotlight or the accolades. It seems the opposite. It’s like he’s saying he’s guilty.

Lol, if the UFC gave a fuck about any of that they would have went ahead with the card anyway, they didn't because they didn't think it was worth paying there fighters or making sure the fans got a show because they didn't feel like they would make enough profit from it.

How people can blame this on anyone other than the UFC is the only thing mind boggling here.

That's like saying

"I'll kill myself if it's ever windy again"

I guess he's just suicidal

get well soon

Ok.. I would list the fighters that wouldn't consider not taking that fight but it would take too long. Was Chael going to outwrestle Jon? Could he KO him? Stylistically, what was his path to victory? GOATS challenge themselves, only that wouldn't even be considered challenging himself. Yeah I'm sure Max turns that fight down if he were Jon. Shit even Conor took on Mendes and Nate on short notice. He didn't cancel any shows. Never popped either. And double champ, Jones can't say that either. And Conor isn't a snitch, nor would he agree to be. Huh. Conor > Jon. Wow. Both in accomplishments and moral character, when you take in the fact he was never actually caught roiding like Jon (7x).

This is a reasonable perspective issue is Jones side is reasonable too and that there's other people to blame who don't get blame. Part that doesn't get talked about is Hendo not disclosing the injury till the last second. Maybe it's cause Hendo isn't hated by the fans? Jones isn't obligated to fight on short notice and lots of guys turn down short notice fights. Machida turned down this fight with Jones short notice too, Chael was the only one except maybe then no name Weidman.

Just another case of people assuming cause Jones said no to a fight he was afraid so we wasted another year hyping a fight no one really should have wanted to see.

That card was also very weak and there's a reason that it was the first PPV card cancelled in UFC history while it was not the first PPV card where a main event was pulled. That is on the UFC for making a card so weak it would have to be cancelled without the main event cause no one in their right mind would buy it. Not fair to blame Jones or any main eventer for killing a card when you were the one that put those fighters in that position. Jones didn't ask to fight on a weak card with no support.

I don't disagree Jon should have taken the fight but he was under no obligation to and he's not the one who had no faith in there own product with out him.

Of course Conor took those fights against the least prepared of his options both times, he wanted to make the money he was expecting to make that weekend and unlike Jon wasn't putting a belt and a legacy on the line. I won't even bother addressing the rest of that.

Yeah but he didn't "fail" in the sense that they don't give a fuck a banned substance is in his system. I think Dana meant if he randomly popped for some other steroids he's using.
