Media Dana White: "Power Slap does one billion views a month"

I mean, I imagine they are barely paying anything to host powerslap events.

It’s gotta be very profitable given how cheap the production costs must be. It feels like at least half the slap matches are probably 1k/1k.
If I remember right, I think it was Kendall Grove who posted on Twitter that he was offered 2k show/2k win if he did a Power Slap event. That's abysmal, but then again Power Slappers aren't athletes.

Dana must be counting Youtube shorts and TikToks in his "one billion". People can leave a 10 second short playing a few times by accident and he'll count that too. Absolutely dumb.

Sure if you release thousands of youtube shorts and add up the sum total of each of their views. Probably also including all of the views for shorts on all other platforms (insta, tiktok, x, etc.).

But that's not the same as powerslap events having high concurrent viewership. Dana is just being a trolling idiot here, and he knows it.

1 billion views where? It's definitely not on YouTube.

That's their top 12 most popular videos on YouTube.

Their most popular video has 12 million views.

The only way he's getting that number is if you count the views of their YouTube channel with their social media views.

Even then that's not getting anywhere 1 billion a month. Maybe 1 billion or 2 billion overall since it's inception, but not on a monthly basis.
Im actually surprised they got that many views.

Probably counting anytime anybody sees it, which could be as simple as scrolling past it. And probably still inflating the numbers. There’s a reason this was promptly dropped from cable and is on YouTube for free. If it truly was regularly pulling in billions of views, there would be television networks lined up.

FIFA is actually considering canceling the upcoming World Cup to avoid having to compete with Power Slap, per sources. Instead, Paramount+ will run a $1500 PPV Power Slap match featuring Messi vs Da Crazy Hawaiian.

They're viewbotting and Dana is too much of a boomer to understand the concept. Platforms like rumble are 90%+ fake viewers padded to make it look like there is activity but then when you look at the chat it's dead and there's no way that many people are watching.

If you count all the eyes of every common house spider and all those photocells or whatever the fuck a housefly has, then  MAYBE DickSlap gets a couple million views in the US if it happened to be playing in the background.
