I don't mind the show, but I don't really like the brand of masculinity that Dana and Matt promote, where people are "girls", "bitches" and "pussies" if they don't do things and act just like them. Just seems like they're about 30-40 years behind in evolution. Real meatheads.
I don't really get why they act surprised at the lack of sign-able talent out there, either. Particularly Matt, who seems like he wants to shit on the fights and fighters he's watching at every opportunity. You would think having been a fighter himself and now a coach/trainer, that he'd have a better idea of the talent level to expect at these regional shows, and would be more understanding and accepting of the level these guys are at, too. I mean, I'd assume the majority of them aren't even full-time pro fighters. They probably still have to work day jobs to make ends meet. Just seems like a shit, unrealistic attitude that they're taking into these events.
TBH, I actually find Nick to be a fun, likeable guy, but they treat him like some alien weirdo. I don't quite get how he and Dana are "best friends". They just seem too different.
