I think he meant after he lost to Stipe and Lewis when he said "a couple" but even then, he's still lying about not wanting to do business with him cause he was willing to give Francis the best HW contract in the history of the company. If he didn't want to do business with him he would have just let him walk after the contract expired instead of trying to get him to stay..
