Yeah if he gave her the roman reign's superpunch, he's probably out of here, but the degree of the slap plays a hand in this. But he did follow up and slap her two times. Because that's the factor that separates this from the typical wife-beater story of a husband KOing his wife. They were both drunk, she slapped him first, and its not like she was just KOed and the paramedics were called and she had to stay a few nights in the hospital.

This is a lightly embarrassing situation, but really the only people that should be majorly offended with the situation is who Dana has fired in the past for domestic disputes - like Dan Hardy - who's reputation should be 100% restored at this point.

When it comes to combat sports, It seems like a lot of the people in that enivronment from promotoers, fighters, etc are shitty people. ESPN knows what type of people they are getting when they make deal with combat sports people. You're getting shitty people. and they are willing to put up with it. People talk about disney/ESPN perception as if Dana White runs a Nicklodeon show. He doesn't. He runs something that kids shouldn't even be watching. An environment where criminal organizations, political organizations, and such all have influence on the sport. His fighters meeting with dictators, several fighters who he's signed were apart of white nationalists groups, some fighters even killed people or severly hurt women and disney never addressed that. Neither did the UFC, so why would anyone think Dana of all people is going down for two slaps? I don't think so.

Are you some kind of armchair psychologist? Because these types of situations could be swung around on you - Like if your woman KNOWS you'd never defend yourself, under any circumstances, sooner or later she's going to test that so in her eyes you'd either be a woman beater or a coward.

For the record, I've never hit a woman, and can't imagine a scenario that I would... probably because I'm athletically larger than the average male and I've stared down men even larger than me. And I can't imagine dating or being married to a woman that's pose any physical threat to me whatsoever.

But, then again, everyone - man or woman - of any age - child to elderly - We all live by a set of universal rules that never need to be said, and one of them is "Fuck around and find out."
