How many 10/10 big event cards do you expect in a year?

When you consider the limited roster with fighters who don't fight so much in certain time frame.

And there is only so many elite fighters on the roster.

I don’t think people realize we only got 4 “stacked” PPVs a year or less before. I don’t think much will fundamentally change. It’s just much cheaper to access.

Hopefully theyre like 2-3 huge title fights. Royal-Rumble/WrestleMania/SummerSlam/Survivor-Series model.

January should be the first "Big Card", Ilia vs Paddy, Kayla vs Nunes, Izzy vs Strickland 2.

I'm optimistic about this deal.

Wouldnt be surprised if they brought back the Moniker name for the 4 events.

Like back in the SEG/Zuffa era they had: "Battle in the Bayou" "Locked and Loaded" "Super Saturday" "Heavy Hitters"

If this turns into them having peak WEC quality cards once a month and 4 super cards that harken back to UFC 2005-2009 or Pride/K1 Heros NYE quality events that would be great

Im down with it. Just give me one or two fights worth watching on these bi weekly cards and i can do something else for the undercards. Will tune in 4 times a year to watch the whole card

So essentially just like 4 UFC 300's every year. Every 3 months we get the huge huge card feel.

I like it a lot actually.
So 4 times a year, I schedule life around these cards. The rest of the year, I watch if I have nothing else going on.

Also, this all costs me only $100 per year. Love it.

It's hilarious we just had Holloway vs Poirier ppv, and people are saying we get 13 ppv a year now why's it going down to 4. The Paramount numbered events won't look any different than the ESPN ppv 1 title and maybe a few good fights then dwcs guys they're trying to make happen.

4 really stacked events a year would be an improvement 2025 has had 0 so far 311 Islam vs Moicano, 312 2 titles then Tafa was on the ppv, 313 Alex P then Justin beating up Fiz a 2nd time, 314 vacant title filler, 315 belal, 316 the O'Malley rematch show, 317 Illia for another vacant title, 318 Poirier retirement show, 319 Khamzat vs DDP and then Pico is comain, 320 Alex P 2, 321 Aspinall, 322 Islam vs JDM, 323 ?

Not one legit stacked cars there some were pretty good. But doesn't compare to 2024.

Imagine those 4 cards feature only ranked fighters. That would be sick af.

12 fight card with top 15s fighting in the prelims. And only top 5 fighters on those main card (excluding legends fighting)

Read: feature only "naked" fighters.

Then 6 - 8 numbered cards per year (normal PPV)

35 Fight Night cards per year. Zero at the Apex.
