News Dana White ‘pissed off’ after Clay Guida faked retirement to get post-fight interview at UFC Kansas

I enjoyed the exchange of gloves and catching it on cam was cool.

Clay's antics? No biggie to me but he kinda had to be aware he might get some grief over it. It will be swept under the rug in days likely. I'm sure there will be some penalty in line for the future.

10% of your purse sounds fair...

I didnt have a problem with it, but I also didnt have a problem with DC cutting off the interview.

Yes very tight schedule; need to promote Prime sugar water and the latest straight to DVD action movie.
Yeah, screw the advertisers that millions pay for your programming so Clay can ramble about something no one cares about.
The people on here that tell a multi billion dollar business how they do everything wrong are worse than the full time couch potatoes that tell world champions what they're doing wrong in a fight.... I'm guessing it's the same people.

Wait people think that the UFC is going to cut the advertising if Guida runs over?

Pretty sure they would go to commercial between rounds 4+5 in the main (which they usually stay on) or at least cut promo material first, right?

Either way, fuck Guida. There were 14 fights yesterday and his fight felt like an hour long. We were cheering for retirement to save the next city from having to watch him jazzercise for 15 mins again.

I believe everyone involved in this Clay Guida scandal should get a full cavity search. From Dana right on through to Clay Guida’s mom. Someone’s hiding something…

A reliable employee who has given 15 years of his time to the company and has a fight in the HoF pulled a very light hearted prank and you're pissed off about it? Dana is such a fucking child.
Ok, so if Dana says "nahh, I was cool with it", you don't think every scrub fighter won't take that as a green light to run their own show?
They have their own social media so they should do it there, on their own time.

Or feel free to buy a 30 second spot on ESPN if your message is that important to you.

If Colby did it Dana would be on his knees about how brilliant it was
Colby does it to sell tickets and push his brand. Much different than a personal message.... oh, and if Clay was headlining he would have that option... but he doesn't, so tough luck.
