Media Dana shuts down Francis ever returning

But he turned down 8 million a fight. I doubt PFL or Bellator are going to beat or even match that (when Francis is looking for a lot more IMO probably 15-20 million).
He did not turn it down for the money. It was everything else, he feels the contract structure is unfair, treating the fighters with all the constraints of being an employee and none of the benefits.
I don't know what he will do next, but in MMA, he will fight for much less than 8 millions.

There are some better options for particular fighters, but they are the ones the UFC are happy to let walk and have some else pay overs for them. For the UFC champs I don't think there are really better options.
I am also thinking about excellent fighters who are headlining PFL, Bellator, KSW. Guys like Parnasse, Nemkov or AJ MC Kee who make several hundred thousands per fight but would drop to less than 100k in the UFC (for tougher competition).
But yes, for UFC champs (not all, some are not paid well), UFC is the place.

I love all the hate for Dana... when he said in video LOOK my guy hunter.. <<< had like 70 meetings with this guy... maybe Hunter pulled the plug no company wants deal difficult employees he just backup his guy i bet.. which good to see. If dana couldnt get it done and Hunter couldnt get it done.. they move on ..UFC doesnt need Frank where would frank be right now if he was never in UFC,.. he needs them......

You are crazy if you think that noise was the primary reason for not signing. It was all about money. He made it very clear many times money is primary factor. You are nuts deep on Francis is you believed he turned down the UFC knowing he was going to fight for less elsewhere.

Yes there are some particular cases, but some of those fighters are limiting their earnings by staying where they are. Others might not cut it in the UFC if they changed so they are best where they are. But none of those fighters are hurting the business of the UFC by not being in the UFC, so they certainly aren't high on the list of fighters the UFC wants to sign. They generally (not always) prefer fighters they haven't fought in major promotions so they can start them at the bottom of the payscale and build the fighters brand.

Dana trying to ruin any negotiating power Francis has (it’s not much). For the right price they will take him back

I will tell you what to do or think, since you have no clue, I'm just leading you down the right path. No UFC fighter makes life changing money except Conor. Jon Jones is the most successful and most accomplished fighter in mma history, worth roughly 3 million dollars. If he was a boxer, with his ppv numbers, he would easily be worth over a 100.

We do know what they make.
Jones is on record himself saying he makes over 5 million per fight.

There are plenty more quotes around money from if you know how to use google btw.

So you bring up a tweet where he doesn't say that. What else have you got?

If you literally google "Ngannou money" the first link is: "Francis Ngannou says money was not primary reason for UFC departure"
https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/...parture-i-was-slapped-in-the-face-with-money/

There is even one where says he admits he will have to accept LESS money by leaving the UFC
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/other-sports/mma/francis-ngannou-ufc-mma-news-29350775

There is not a single one were he says that he leaves the UFC to make more money.

For the right price, hell will freeze over. But Dana probably predicting Francis will not bargain at UFC terms thus the strong assertion.
