For some reason I doubt he will strip him anytime soon, gotta play nice with Mcgregor or he might not come back lol.

It’s more than 12 months. That belt is a fraud, made out of paper. Only serious losers would consider it to be legit at this point.

He’s 100% healthy. Strip that already.

This will probably go on for like 4 years.

Dana's tune will change to "Hes never fighting again, He has no desire to" If the negotiations go bad. To "He is fighting this guy next 100%" if they can lowball him into the cage again.

Its basically GSP all over again. Only difference is GSP was never Dana's friend and vice versa. He stripped GSP of his belt faster then he could even say "Tabarnac" the first time... They fucked up paying Conor to much for the boxing. Now getting him back in the cage will take some serious begging, pleading and money.

I wouldn't hold my breath on him ever fighting again in the octagon. Should they strip him? Yup. Will they? Nope...
 
They won't strip him for a long, long time because they control him due to the champions clause in the UFC contracts. If they strip him, he can fight out the remainder of his contract and then be a free agent.

While I agree this situation is nonsense and he is just a paper champ at this point should have been stripped long ago

Your statement is not technically true and this myth keeps getting perpetuated. Conor has actually defended a belt he defended his interim 145 title when it was unified with Aldo. Just because you win a new belt does not mean you did not defend the old one. In that fight he simultaneously won a new belt and defended his similar to boxing where there are multiple titles for the same weight class.
