I've really enjoyed Yoel's run within the UFC. Yoel is one of the best I've ever seen in terms of WTF factor. However, at some point really really soon his abilities diminish greatly. We can all argue how soon but I get it. I don't think Yoel makes better money at Bellator but there should be some fun fights. Bellator, or whomever, should be careful and probably sign him to a two fight deal max as Yoel is old, no fun typing that that, but it is true.

For the other 60 I think we could all see this coming as there is a bunch of guys who the UFC cannot provide fights for. I wish they would cut out WMMA in its entirety but doesn't appear that is going to happen.

Really, the Reem though? Although he's not getting any younger he won 4 out of his last 5 fights (with some solid wins against up and comers like Pavlovich and Sakai) with all finishes. He was seconds away from cruising away to an relatively easy W against Rozenstruik, otherwise he'd be 5/5 right now. With a win over Volkov (which wouldn't be a huge upset) he's possibly fighting for the title again later next year.

Why not cut Weidman then? Saying he lost 4 out of his 5 is one of the most stupid thing Dana could have said looking back at what level he was and what sort of loses he had. UFC are trying to play bully when fighters like Yoel were probably on negotiation disagreements.

I think it's PAST time that Chris Weidman got cut. Again....like Gian Villante....these two dudes are all good buddies of Matt Serra and Matt Serra has Dana White's ear.

But I would say definitely up for cutting in next few weeks (just based on a few things, one of which is most of these are probably on higher $$$ pay, OR they've underperformed or they're getting old, or they're "irrelevant" to the current rankings, or some combination :

I reaally don't get it - has to be a negation money thing if I had to bet.

It's really not that hard: they wanted a reason.
