I like that idea in terms of a big enough carrot for Chimaev to take the fight at 185 but I'm not cool w/ him jumping Bobby.

I'm not cool with any MW jumping Bobby. Given he's 0-2 vs Adesanya the UFC likely won't have an issue with it but any idea that lets a title contender go around and not through Bobby I can't get behind.

If Colby declines it, why not offer Khamzat Costa with promise he'll get a titleshot at either WW or MW if he wins?

Costa is a easier fight for him than Colby

And Jon is seemingly confirmed to not return this December, like it was reported before. At this point I don't really have any hope left for his return lol.
