I like the "Conor ,as far as a fighter, is a guy I really respect"

Think that little addition says a lot

Dana is being way too chill about this. He even just admitted giving Conor leeway at times.

Something is wrong.

A very measured Dana there, I actually liked that he was willing to give Conor plenty of credit for taking short notice, risky fights, as well as being an exciting fighter, while at the same time was able to say Conor is at times maybe given too much leeway and that he cannot choose not to do promotional work and still maintain his billing at UFC 200.

I still think there is more to this that just shooting a commercial.

You just said exactly what I said in less words. Nice work!

Also forgot to say: thanks for linking, TS. I had not seen this.

What stood out to me here is Dana saying "He knows his value and how many PPV's he sells".

Dont worry the butt buddies will make up soon.

ZUFFA/CONOR are the exact same entity...They are both screwing fighters.

Nate Diaz deserves to be higher paid than Conor in the rematch.

He wasn't a Huckleberry. No huckleberry at all.

Dana handled the situation and the interview well. Pretty much dusting McGregor's little retirement stunt right off his shoulder.

The real question that no one seems to be asking is why doesn't he want to do the promotion? There's no way Dana hasn't asked this or Conor hasn't responded tot his. What's going on?

There's plenty money for him over at Bellator. that's not including what he can possibly earn from sponsors

Well not available outside of USA or something.. great.. makes so much sense.

Had to proxy this like usual.

And the dumb post of the day goes to....

Diaz was making crap before the Conor fight, even if Diaz is a better fighter...he should be happy Conor took the fight on short notice and got him paid 500k which is 8x what he made in his fight prior and the most he has ever been paid, same shit for Chad Mendes....

But yet Conor is screwing other fighters....because he is better at getting the sport some attention?

Conor haters are just moronic, if you want to hate his personality...sure go for it...but when all this shit about him taking money or him not fighting the best when his last 4 fights have been just that, well...I just dont get it.

Maybe he's tired of having to constantly wear Reebok ever time he's in front of a camera promoting a fight.
