Bro, T-Wood after he lost his title to Usman, he was never the same again even after he had 14 months layoff, you could also say same thing about Conor vs Khabib.

Fighters even after they lose their titles in a wrestling/grappling fight, they need a layoff to do soul searching cause they'd be feeling mentally exhausted, like, bro, that was a mental beatdown, taking a break to recover mentally is as important as taking a break to recover physically too, like see what happened when Tony came back after ONLY 7 months from that torturous beatdown he took from Gaethje? he lost dominantly, even if he'd never be the same again from that fight, had he took more time off, maybe he could've done better.

Why is Khamzat still fighting once a year if his visa issue's been resolved?

The whole reason some people weren't excited about him becoming champ was the assumption he'd be an inactive champ. Which seems to still be the case.

I hope he does. Which is why I'll be baffled if he still only fights once in 2025. Will have no idea what the excuse would be if he doesn't take another fight this year, after only fighting once in 2024 and once in 2023.

The visa issues are done, he says he's healthy so book him again this year.
 
I don't believe RDR ducked Khamzat after fighting Malykhin twice. He's trying to speed run to the top.

I'd sooner believe Khamzat doesn't want to fight again or The UFC is being stupid again.

His coach already said they're basically travelling to train solely their weaknesses for the next four months, and will only accept a fight after that. Don't expect to see him fight again until March or April.

people are so damn dumb. Khamzat saying some in the moment shit or Dana saying cool, I'd consider it and things actually being worked out are two different things.

RDR likely already had that fight with Fluffy signed which is the right fight to make by the way before Khamzat even said shit, all RDR did was say oh really, cool, I'd surely like a title shit even if I have a contract I'm signing to fight Fluffy.

this thread is a bunch of dumb shit nothing. Nobody lied, nobody is ducking, Khamzat wont fight till Dec the earliest and more likely Jan/Feb.
