Fighting JDS to get to the title doesn't make much sense anyway. If you lose to him the ufc has lost a top contender and JDS isn't getting another title shot anytime soon so it's a lose/lose situation. Dana is just trying to get Overeem to lose so he can pay him less.

He clearly meant gatekeeper to the title, he is the consensus #2 behind Cain.
 
Seems like Dana is trying to make it look like Overeem is ducking a gatekeeper. He's trying so hard to figure out how t bully jds and reem to fight.

He's the gatekeeper to the belt, a guy who lost his shots but is still great and if you can beat him you deserve a title shot.

JDS is in a shitty spot right now as long as Cain is champ, its almost like you cant do anything with him. You match him with prospects he will beat them and kill young guys off.


You match him with contenders he beats them and then Cain has nobody to fight.

Dos Santos beat Cain the first time and then lost the belt so he only lost one shot actually. If he keeps winning he should get a title shot.

But its like Bendo, actually its worse cause Cain smashed JDS twice and the second fight didnt do shit on PPV because fans just saw him destroyed not long before that third fight.

But yes if he keeps winning he will eventually get a shot but its not gonna be anytime soon unless Cain loses.

Lol, He was nothing but a punching bag for Cain for 2 rounds. That chin of his was the only thing that stopped him being KTFOd cold on several occasions. JDS did NOTHING in those last 2 fights.
