You're probably an idiot and not worth the discussion, but lets just check. Why is my assumption naive and yours 'more likely'? I will not respond unless you show some intelligence.
Simply put: common sense.
There is absolutely no NEED for the UFC to keep him. He's not a star by any mean and does not bring him exceptional profit.
If you try, with your one-cell-brain, follow the business plan of WME, you would've been able to see that they're cutting their costs and their profits come from expansion/sponsorship. And superstars that sell PPVs. Which Yair is not.
So, the only reason for them to bring him back is for him to accept the fight that they demand him to take.
Whether they punish him anyway by cutting his salary - is up to them.
You could've also, if you had enough IQ, to do some history checking and remember the time when Fitch and co refused to provide their name and likeness for the UFC and were fired on a spot.
They were brought back ONLY after they accepted all. And UFC was in much less stable state back then.
So now, after I educated your empty head, you may wither respond to me, or disappear in the athmosphere, for what I care.
I put you in your place, shoved the truth straight into your stupid face and embarrased you. And it took me 3 minutes.
Good night.
