yeah he is in Sam Alvey/Tony Ferguson territory now as far as UFC keeping him on the roster. 5-8 UFC since his streak but he won't get cut.

I try to be glass half-full in my view on flawed fighters if they are clearly doing their best and going through the fire.

I will say in hindsight he recently gave Lerone Murphy a quality scrap that he was close to taking, which says a lot how he makes the best really work for those wins (same with Emmett and even Lopes on a days notice).

I’m still surprised he lost to Bryce though, stylistically that was pretty damn favorable for him.
