Dan Hooker post fight

I'm not sure why you would say that. Poirier is top of the food chain and Hooker looked essentially equal to him last night.

I say that because there are very few guys that actually make life changing money...Dustin is probably one of them. Dont get me wrong I think he's awesome...I just think he comes up short against the top guys in the division.

The beatings he takes could be life changing so I hope the $$ is

Got to respect and admire the guy but damn...he takes so much punishment and is probably not good enough to make life changing money.

He is good enough. He got bonus awards in 3 of his last 4, and he ought to have a win bonus which he gets more often than not, so that's six figures per fight if he wins and/or gets a bonus award. Compare that to the average middle class American making five figures a year, it's totally life changing even if it's not McGregor money.

What kinda 6 figures we talking? 100k? These guys are probably lucky to keep 35-40% of their purse

I'd guess anywhere from 120-150k. Manager and head coach generally won't drain them too badly, but the medical bills sure will so you're probably right for when he takes this kind of beating.
