Dan Hooker is a glorified journeyman.

And he's still simmering in that hotel prison in abu dhabi with no win bonus (or bonus at all) listening to those race cars driving him crazy.

Only as impressive as Whittaker getting slept by wonderboy.
Both were doing excessive weight cut and only materialized their true potential when moving up.
Still a couple of decent wins though.
 
Hooker was -143, Chandler was +110. Pretty close odds. Being a solid gatekeeper and a really tough out is quite the accomplishment in possibly the toughest weight class of all time in the most prestigious promotion.

Hooker knocked out 170 title contender Gilbert Burns and also beat Iaquinta. If you're gonna do this shit, at least be intellectually honest. Don't talk about his best wins and then literally not mention his two best wins. You lose credibility with bullshit like that.

DP has beat all of the top lightweights except Khabib, Ferguson and Oliveira. I think he'd beat the last two. And if Khabib isn't coming back, then I think he is a world beater. His next fight is a title fight against Conor and I think he finishes Conor again, likely within 2 rounds...

He is a decent fighter. He doesn't fight smart.
 
As a Kiwi I have never understood why he is main eventing so often.
I think the UFC like him and full credit to him. Get that cash bro.
