I enjoy Hardy's cageside work.

I actually really like Hardy. IMO the UFC has done a pretty good job at putting the right fighters into commentary.

Stann, Hardy, Cruz, and even Felder have all been very strong in the booth.

HOWEVER, until they bring back Frank Mir they are missing out on the fighter I believe is best in the booth.

but I think a lot of it is due to John Gooden's direction of him. Gooden is a seriously under-recognised commentator IMO. He is the the best play-by-play commentator that the UFC has on their books.

Would love to see him made lead play-by-play guy. You can hear the passion in his voice unlike that robot.

My advice to Dan Hardy doing commentary would be to just be yourself, stop trying to please everybody, and for gods sake put some bass in your voice
