Dx Impersonating the nation of domination is still one of the all time funniest things to happen on the show.

I remember cracking up so fucking hard and my buddy who was all into WCW was over and hated wwe at the time. That bit alone converted him and made him give it a chance.

Prime jericho should have been fit into DX because his shtick at the time felt like it was made to be part of that stable.

The fact that they didn't use him for a year and had him as a denizen of Sunday night heat fighting gangrel was mostly politics. Hhh hated him at the time
This is incorrect. It’s funny how people look back and blame hhh for things long before he ever had any power or say so.

It's part of it. Hhh himself has admitted to as much in interviews. Said jericho had bad heat with everyone and a lot of them worked against him till he shaped up for the first year

I see what you are saying now and you are indeed correct he came in and had heat. Thoufny you were implying that hhh himself was holding Jericho back in his first year, which was not the case.

Ahh no. Its was a combination of things by all accounts.

At the time watching it, it looked like titanic mismanagement from creative because we all knew how good jericho could be. But we were not privy too the behind the scenes stuff back then other than the tidbits we read from wrestling observer. It was pretty normal back then for me to just go into go into store, read the thing and not buy it lol

Van Hagar is, was, and always will be better than DLR Van Halen in every possible way.

I don't know if I can co-sign but it is much closer than anyone is willing to admit.

I liken it to Sabbath w/Dio

Musically and vocally 100x more talented than the original lead singer, but still not the same band that got hot.

Love both versions though.

The 98 version with XPac and the Outlaws is the most, "DX", version.

I much prefer the one before with HBK and Chyna. The one with Rude was good, but too crowded as he was deadwood, with the same 80s promos. Also, do you need an Enforcer AND a bodyguard?

Rude was also just too old for this shit, as he was basically the degenerated baby boomer of D-Generation X.

I thought it was best when HBK and HHH were working together. I never gave a fuck about Chyna or Rude in DX (I loved Rick Rude just never thought he fit with DX).

It was all about HBK and HHH, and the New Age Outlaws. The rest were just along for the ride.

Yeah, with crows feet too.

Something was happening behind the scenes too. On one of his last appearances on Raw, JR was commenting on how he needed new promos.

Unfortunately that version of Dx never really existed (for any sustained period of time).

Incorrect. It existed for 1 night only on arguably the best episode of Raw ever when HBK turned on the corporation and rejoined DX, who then paid him back later that night by locking the door when HBK was leaving the arena. This is when HBk gets attacked and his head is thrown through the car window. Same episode where Mankind wins the title for the first time.

When I put in parentheses for any sustained period of time what do you think I meant by that ?
