why is no one talking about the fact that EVERYONE knows what DC's weakness is? we all heard him tell Jon that he won't get left high kicked, and then he gets left high kicked by Jones AND Rumble.

this is something that he's obviously been working on for a while but still can't seem to fully cover it. if Stipe is smart he will exploit that flaw in DC.
 
Sure Sure.. If Jones was fighting Stipe people would be saying Jones is about to get his ass whooped..

DC can use the lean as a feint, then grab his leg and go for the takedown. That's what he did against volkan. I'm sure he already knows but obviously it doesn't work 100% of the time.

Anthony Johnson hits harder and is quicker than Stipe. DC will be just fine. Stipe's will might get broken, and he might gas. Going to be a fun one no matter what.

100% agree. I liked how he referred to Jones as a cheater and said he in fact is the GOAT.

People on here have argued that DC would admit Jones didnt need steriods and beat him anyway. I've counter argued that isnt the case after having a conversation with the GOAT DC. Validated...

Rumble also shit the bed twice vs Cormier, mostly because he doesn't have heart.

Stipe definitely has that.

people don't realize you don't have to be fast and explosive to be a KO puncher, look at Mark Hunt. there's more to striking than physical attributes. Anthony Johnson also hits harder and is quicker than Jon Jones, but who KO'd DC? not Rumble.

timing, accuracy, and deception are for more important in striking than explosiveness and speed.

i'm pretty sure DC had said before that Jones doesn't need the steroids to be who he is. he might've changed his tune since then, but i'm sure he said this.
 
Hoping Stipe gets the KO and we cannot understand a word he says in the post fight interview.
 
DC couldn't break Mir or Big Country years ago, he won't break Stipe.

He has a solid chance of landing a big punch because Stipe is a part time fighter with big holes in his defence, but that's about it.

DC is not physically fit to win a wrestling match at high level since 2009.

Dude Stipe has a way worse gas tank than dc

Stipe gassed after 1.5 rds against francis, ppl didnt realise it because ngannou has the gas tank of a 1970s vw beetle.

Cormier has gassed once against the goat. Stipe's cardio is actually pretty bad, its the reason why he got ktfo by struve and lost to jds the first time
 
Lets just see how the heavier DC handles his weight in a 5rd fight.
 
i love DC, but na. he doesn't have the power and he can't take Stipe.

Gustafson actually knocked DC out with a knee maybe in the 3rd round. DC dumb luck pulled it together by being highly game and bred for this, but Stipe won't show such mercy.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think I've ever seen DC gas. In fact isn't he known for his great cardio. On the other hand Stipe gassed bad in his last fight. Not as bad as Ngannou but he did gas out.

That's funny because I seem to recall Gustafsson dropping DC with punches somewhere around the middle of the fight and looking like he had him nearly finished. Imagine a bigger guy that hits much harder (and probably has better overall boxing as well) like Stipe doing that.
