Lets be honest Francis had no idea what to do on the feet and had no idea what to do with top control. Gane made a bad decision in round 5 but if he kept it standing he could have potentially TKOd or even won by Decision since Ngannou had no gas left.

If Gane works on is ground game and brings better fight IQ, then yes he can absolutely win in a rematch.

This^^^ and it is well documented that Francis had a bad knee. Gane was exposed in that he has a weak ground game that needs work. Nothing in the fight would indicate a quick rematch would be any different, and bet Gane agrees.
