So tired of champions not willing to fight someone. Look at someone like Lesnar, like him or not he fought whoever Dana and the UFC asked him to fight.

Cyborg has cleared out the two people in her division. Amanda Nunes has also cleared out hers. No point in not having a superfight between the two.

Conor needs to fight the Tony Ferguson, the interim champ in the LW division. I can see if Conor was gonna box again but that doesn’t appear to be the plan. Conor could also fight Holloway for the FW belt that he gave up.

TJ has fought everyone in his division as has Demetrius Johnson. Time for a superfight between the two.

Cyborg and Amanda and TJ and MM can both fight at catchweight and not risk their belts.

I hope these fighters stop bitching and start fighting.

Conor can't ever be GOAT if he is 1-1 against Nate with a submission loss and close decision win.
 
They are all looking to get paid more. Plain and simple. They will all fight happily.

This settles it, we need a dozen more interim belts.
 
Cut them all and send them back to the minors. Get Dana out front talking about how this isn't boxing, the best fight the best. Can you imagine if a fighter said this on a TUF episode during the part when they ask who do you want to fight next round?

DW HAS roasted people on TUF for turning down fights.

Him going in on Kimbo when he offered Kimbo another fight while in the house first comes to mind but I know that's not the only time.

This is the part of the argument I don't get. These fighters have contracts and their job is to fight who their employer asks. Nowadays, you have fighters demanding more pay when they're asked to fight an actual contender. That's not how a contract works.

What are you talking about? Tyler Jeffery hasn’t defended his title once. His first reign. He only defended against USADA Barao and Joe Soto. He has losses to Dodson, and Dom. He has never fought Jimmie Rivera who is 21-1 or Marlon Moraes who is a former champ.
 
The reason most people are being so selective is the UFC price tag and the one sided contracts.

Big fights that bring in more punters should mean more money for the fighters involved, but a lot of these contracts pay them the same no matter who they are fighting, that does not incentivize them to take the hardest fights.

Also the pay drop after losing a fight/belt is far too steep, I get it when a guy goes on a 3 fight skid but guys can go from 200-300k to 48k after losing one fight, again that will not make fighters look for the biggest challenge.

If the UFC shared the profits more with the fighters and offered fairer pay scales it wouldn't be such an issue.

This doesn't really apply to Conor, as his reason for not fighting is he's had better options.
 
I am down for a "Super-Fight" when the champions have cleaned out the division or the top contender is out. Been calling for Dillashaw - Mighty Mouse for a while. That is the fight Johnson fans want. And Cyborg... 145 is terrible. A Fight against Nunes could be the biggest WMMA fight ever.

What’s nice about Cyborg vs. Nunes is that it’s a striker vs. striker fight with both having fight ending power in their hands which is rare for women.
 
I want to see TJ rematch Dom and Cody before he goes to another weight class for super fights.

I don't care about WMMA.

And Conor isn't fighting Tony for "reasons".

Already seen TJ fight Dom and Cody, don't care for immediate rematches unless it's a long standing champion who lost like Anderson.
 
Which is why I really appreciate Max Holloway...great fucking Champion
