Cyborg vs Nunes....

WMMA needs it’s own sub forum. It clouds up the front page the way it clouds up PPV main cards.
 
Cyborg got pissed at Nunes and said she was gonna kill her in the cage and talked shit about her coach. Nunes knew she crossed the line and got <GSPWoah>
 
Nunes sounds pretty gun hoe about it. Even calling Cyborgs comments about not wanting to fight Nunes because she doesn't like the fact that 2 brazilians would be fighting is wrong and it doesn't matter if it's Brazilian vs Brazilian, but the best vs the best.
 
I'd rather see someone in her weight class take the belt off her first. Cyborg can smack her down at a later date.
 
Nunes wants to defend her title. Not chase a "superfight." The same superfight that Cyborg wanted to avoid ( "but muh Brazil") and now Nunes is being bashed for doing what other champs are being bashed for not doing.

No problem. But, then Nunes should have kept her mouth shut to begin with. She was the one that started this whole thing.

Im not sure if she already had defended the belt at the time, but she was aiming at the 145 belt when it was GDR or Holm, once Cyborg was in the picture she wanted none of it, not bashing for not fighting her exactly.
 
Only reason I'm upset is that those 2 will now take up 2 cards instead of one
 
You know when you wake up and realize you did a whole bunch of drunkposting on sherdog and you cringe a little bit? I feel like Nunes came off a bender and her friends were all like, "Hey girl, we should probably talk".
 
Nunes turning down a huge payday, possibly even more than she earned fighting Rousey. Makes no sense.

She did exactly what the UFC wanted Holm and Tate to do, wait for Rousey. She was well compensated.

Well if you say stupid things like.. "I want to beat Cyborg and be a 2 division champion."
Then hide when the fight is possible you deserve the bashing.

The fight is still possible. Cyborg took a fight, Nunes wanted to get a fight in, so she took a title defense.

None of that means the fight is impossible.
