Cyborg vs Nunes still will fight next for the 145 pound title

Yeah Idc what Cyborg says she will do what the boss Dana tells her to nobody wants to see Cyborg vs another Jane Doe.

If Amanda Nunes vs Cris Cyborg was ever going to happen NOW is the best time. They both dont have a set in stone contender in line.

That being said I wanna know what the wonderful world of Sherdog thinks of the matchup?
 
how can you make an super fight when one of the champs hasn't defended her belt, the other champ just had a questionable decision win?
 
i dont know who id root for. i like both of them.
 
I think it should be after another contender fight.

I wanna see Cyborg x Anderson first, and after Cyborg x Amanda. I wanna see Cyborg fight someone bigger than her.

Either way, Cyborg x Nunes would be so huge for WMMA

Questionable? That was a clear 3-2 for Nunes.

Champ vs Champ is a superfight last time I checked... regardless of number of defences.
 
i guess it makes sense. nunes is gay and attracted to women. doesnt make sense to fight people you're attracted to.

How can you make a post without a quick research first.

Amanda has 2 titles defenses, one of which she fooked Ronda in the first round. Cyborg has been undefeated since 2005. She became P4P 1 in 2009. So any fight after that u can consider a title defense.

I think Cyborg is correct in trying to fight actual 145'ers.
It does not help her at all (or the division) to fight yet another 135'er.
it is a lose-lose situation.
She beats Nunes, people will hate because she fought another 135'r.
She loses, well she lost to a 135'r Besides what happens next? Nuned goes back to 135 and effectively kills the division.


The smart choice would be for the UFC to absorb invicta's 145 division and get the top contender to fight Cyborg.

This Nunes fight is stupid if you are indeed trying to build the division.
 
Amanda will gas and get finished.

Cyborgs gas tank and patience against Holly showed she will be extremely tough to beat. And Amanda has nothing for her.
 
I’d love to see this fight. Cyborg takes it. She’s been a lot more pacient as of late. I think Nunes wilts in under 4.

? what... they both have title defenses. lol Cyborg just defended against Holly and Amanda defended against Shevchenko regardless of decision its a W.

Yeah I will lean towards Cyborg but I wouldnt be surprised if Amanda tried taking it to the ground. Amanda fights well against someone who pressures her.

Well yeah you have listed all good points that the old UFC would do. The new UFC Im sure you have noticed doesnt do things so it makes sense they do what makes money. They do things differently these days.
I like the fight, I would wanna see it rather than Cyborg just beat another nobody. Cyborg or Amanda lose to whoever is next then the potential super fight is down the drain along with the $ WME would loved to had made.
 
Easy fight for cyborg. She can just fight cautiously for a couple rounds and then beat down an exhausted Nunes.
