Cyborg making 135lb debut in December.

Gina on the other hand was the face of women's MMA, and is a legitimate draw. You are the kind of person to bitch about Nick Diaz getting a title shot after losing to Carlos Condit, and then it turns out to be the highest PPV draw of the year.

No one besides hardcore MMA fans cares about Cyborg. If anything she will probably be an anti-draw as people are put off my her manliness. To the casual WMMA fan, sex sells, and the only thing Cyborg brings is some hardcore fans who won't move the needle.

Rhonda is the draw, if Cyborg was worth any money she would have been picked up by a promotion instead of looking for anything resembling a meaningful fight.

Gina was the "face of women's mma"? - that's pretty ridiculous actually. Just because she was considered good looking did not make her the best fighter, she was far from it. She beat a few Flyweights and came in overweight. The real star of that era was Tara Larosa who had a record of like 20-1 during a 10-year period. Unfortunately Tara was not pretty so was SERIOUSLY overlooked. Similar to what's been happening to Sarah Kaufman - if she was considered "pretty" she would have Miesha Tate style hype.

No one besides hardcore fans know about Cris? Seriously? Anyone who knows anything about WMMA will know Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Gina Carano and Cris Cyborg. Damn sure about that.

She's not a draw? Where did you get that from? Have you seen a single Ronda interview without being asked about Cris Cyborg? Look back to her amateur days and they were asking Ronda when she thinks she'd be ready for the #1 female of their division: Cris. Cyborg is one half of the biggest super fight out there today (or the last 5 years).

Cyborg is worth good money. That's why she signed with Lion Fights. And every MMA promotion wanted her when she was negotiating with the UFC in early 2013. But she decided to go with the premier all-female Invicta Fights.

Please show me when and where Cyborg has ever drawn anything significant on her own. And please spare me the Carano fight, we all know who everyone tuned in to watch that night between the two and it's been five years since.

Oh everyone who turned up to the biggest fight in WMMA history was to see how supposedly "hot" Gina Carano looked? I strongly oppose this dim view.

So you can't name a single time and immediately fall back on the one fight I already anticipated you mentioning. Got it. That's all you had to say.

You can oppose the view all you want, but one fighter from that fight went on to make movies and the other is fighting at indian casinos for spare change. You tell me who was the draw out of these two? Stop being purposely obtuse, these are very simple questions. When and where has Cyborg ever legitimately drawn on the scale of Ronda or Carano on her own?

So who are all these women who supposedly are skilled at 135 in UFC ? Please enlighten us. Most say there's a severe lack of skill in WMMA at 135.
Before you start hyping Zingano she used to be at 125 which is gonna help highlight the last point you made

Logical Fallacy, Red Herring, sure sign your position is lost. What 135 has does not matter as far as what 145 has .. which is nothing. Just to answer, 135 is a weaker division too, 105 and 115 are my favorites ... 105 hands down is what I want in the UFC.

Does not change there are maybe 4 145 fighters, impossible to have a division with the lack of talent. 135 is weak but you can have a division, there's enough talent.

How many tuned in to Cyborg's past few fights? That should answer the question. Which is ... yes.

I'm not sure if you understand ... Ronda is the draw. It doesn't matter who she fights. Cyborg is irrelevant, she isn't a draw on her own, she needs Ronda to be relevant.

Cyborg vs. Carmouche sells nothing, Ronda vs. Carmouche gets big numbers.

Well the only time people talk about Cyborg is in regards to Ronda.
I have never seen a thread just about Cyborg.
With out Ronda there would be nobody talking about Cyborg, she has nothing with out Ronda.

This is exactly correct and this is why Cyborg isn't making Ronda Rousey money. Well, that, and that she decided to go fight in high school gyms instead of in the UFC.

There is no way in hell you can't say Gina wasn't the face of WMMA when she fought.

To argue that is just ridiculous. No woman ever drew anywhere near what she did in her fighting day. That makes you the star regardless of ability.
