Cyborg making 135lb debut in December.

As soon as she signs a UFC contract, she'll be subject to out of competition drug testing. Dana White will make her wait, win a fight in the UFC, and wait again before getting a title fight scheduled (while Ronda fights Zingano or Correia or maybe both). Probably 8 months to a year after signing. That's a lot of time to wait and get repeatedly tested. They would definitely assure that Cyborg is totally clean before putting her in the cage with Ronda.

She's been clean since 2011 kid. Update your calender. Out of competition tests have holes in it to exploit just like commission tests. Out of competition testing stance just makes Zuffa look like they are scared to death of Cyborg beating up Ronda so they're searching for ways to avoid it.

Ronda would say shes on her period for a whole year just to avoid cyborg

Fair enough but Julia Budd is a legit 145er that has called out Cyborg before.

R3 also has a 16 second destruction and Davis has a legit resume and winning record.

All of Ronda's opponents in the UFC so far have been set up fights. Ronda was literally handed a title. She never beat anyone for it. It's hilarious Ronda fans try to build up Carmouche as a worthy challenger when she in fact had lost to every fighter with a winning record.
Tate? Came in straight after a TKO loss.
McMann? Her last fight against Murphy proved she had no business getting a title shot
Davis? A powderpuff at stand up. Looked like crap against Jessica Eye and really lost that fight.

I'm still baffled by those who think Ronda's resume in the UFC is something worth bragging about.

Have you seen the picture of her jogging lately?

If she has been clean since 2011 I have some great ocean front property to sell you.

Anyone know why it`s taking her 10-11 months to drop to 135?

We can play that game with just about any bantamweight chick in the UFC. Only test results matter. Cyborg's passed all of them including NSAC randoms for other sports competitions she participated. Ronda and Zuffa are just terrified of losing to Cyborg.

Ronda's bullrushing, face first, easy to hit style cannot beat Cyborg's heavier artillery. She knows it and so does Dana White. Hope they have fun watching the sport die off using their flimsy drug excuse to deny fans the only woman's matchup that fans want to see .

got to admit I would absolutelu love to see Cris come in at 135 and do some serious wrecking....

I've seen some allegedly recent pics of her where she still looks pretty bulky, still, if she can do it safely and effectively, I'd love to see her in the UFC

Yeah I believe it when I see it.
I have seen the PTT pics of Cyborg and thats not a women trying to lose weight.

Yes, but Liz Carmouche, Sara mcsomething and Alexis Davis are huge draws and legimate contenders.

I'm not sure if you understand ... Ronda is the draw. It doesn't matter who she fights. Cyborg is irrelevant, she isn't a draw on her own, she needs Ronda to be relevant.

Cyborg vs. Carmouche sells nothing, Ronda vs. Carmouche gets big numbers.

Gina on the other hand is willing to fight in the UFC. When Cyborg was offered this chance she ran away as fast as she could.

Yeah sure. Thats why negotiations with her has been so easy and fast. LOL

Cyborg and Gina are both amazon women being asked/forced to fight in a midget division. For whatever reason UFC doesnt believe women should be bigger than 135. Tate, Rousey, Zingano, McMann etc are all midgets thats why they have no problem with 135. Gina and Cyborg will take a while to make the weight safely if at all.

Is that why they offered her a title fight, and Cyborg said no, and then offered her some fights leading up to a title fight .. and Cyborg said no release me. Scared for sure.

Because there are maybe 4 women with a smidgeon of skill at 145. Impossible to have a 145 division. Cyborg used to fight 125lb women.

Sure. They're searching for ways to avoid the massive truckloads of money they would make on a Ronda v Cyborg fight & rivalry in the UFC.

Cyborg's head has grown three sizes since she originally showed up in Elite XC.

When Cyborg chose not to sign the contract that the UFC offered her in January 2013 and instead sign for Invicta FC, her then manager Tito Ortiz cited 3 reasons:

1. The UFC wanted to sign her for 8 fights and Cyborg wanted to sign for fewer fights.
2. The UFC wanted all her UFC fights to be at 135lbs, a weight that Cyborg claimed not to be able to make (although the UFC was willing to lend her to Invicta for fights at 145)
3. The UFC wasn't offering enough money to make it worth Cyborg's while to even try to make 135. (now Cyborg says she'll fight Ronda at any weight, at any time, for free).

Ronda Rousey on the other hand, has a theory that the real reason Cyborg didn't sign is the 4th unspoken reason - that the UFC had just started talking about out of competition drug testing and Cyborg wasn't yet ready to risk being tested as soon as she signed on the dotted line. It may be no coincidence that on the exact same day that Invicta announced that Cyborg is fighting in December, the UFC's Ratner was out there talking about a significant expansion of their out of competition testing program for 2015. It would be corporate malpractice for the UFC to put Cyborg in the cage for a title fight, and then if she wins (with the UFC not having done due diligence) have the result overturned for a failed test.

All I'm hoping is that Cyborg makes weight, gets signed by the UFC and puts Ronda flat on her ass.

With these threads, I'm convinced there's no such thing as a Cyborg fan. They're all just Ronda haters.

Yes Zuffa so didn't want Rousey to fight Cybro, that they tried to set up the fight and give Cybro time to make weight while fighting for Invicta while under contract with the UFC. Except Cybro walked away from that deal.

Looks like Cybro didn't want the fight to me.

Oh and by the way, there are ways to beat the tests. You'll notice Cybro has said "you can test me and I'll pass." She never once said "I'm not using PEDs."

So was Jose Aldo. Fought Manny Gamburian 30 Sept 2010, awarded UFC title 20 November 2010, first UFC defense 30 April 2011.

And what would the point have been to have her fight someone? The UFC simply brought over the Strikeforce WBW division as a whole unit, just like they brought in the WEC FW division as a whole unit.

To be fair, they're going the other way with 115, Carla Esparza and TUF 20, but only half the girls had fought for Invicta and they're not near as well known as Ronda and Tate (among casuals).

So who are all these women who supposedly are skilled at 135 in UFC ? Please enlighten us. Most say there's a severe lack of skill in WMMA at 135.
Before you start hyping Zingano she used to be at 125 which is gonna help highlight the last point you made

Nice try. The real reason is they are afraid of derailing the gravy train before it reaches the middle of its tracks. They saw what happened after Gina lost to Cyborg. I'm pretty sure Zuffa's fear is that Ronda vs Cyborg may be Gina vs Cyborg 2.0.

No offense to Ronda but she isnt intelligent enough to have a theory. Plus anything she offers up about Cyborg is gonna have a shitload of bias in it to be taken seriously as a "theory". Cyborg has already undergone random testing in the recent past so Ronda's "theory" much like her strike defense has too many holes for Cyborg
