They know how to pack a world you care about. I loved just walking around in Kiwami 2 with the engine/gfx upgrade, seeing how the shops had all changed.

Beats the Ubisoft game fesign for open world games. Whole lotta pointless, character bereft space with icons everywhere pointing you to everything. The Yakuza games are like pocket Skyrims, where you can get endlessly distracted and not even care about it because it's so wacky.

Like a Dragon looks sick too.
Like a Dragon the ONLY concern I have is how zany the main character seems to be. Kazuma could be goofy but there was always a serious undertone to him. This new guy looks like he stuck a fork in a light socket with his hair.
Never played the Yakuza games. Seems like I'm going to start with Yakuza 0.

Uh, yeah you are now!

I can't recommend them enough. They combine wacky, zany crap with characters and stories with real heart. Great combat, awesome side quests that are all completely different, and a world with character to spare.

And a side mission leads to you fighting a family boss in a sex club catering to men who want to relive being infants.

I got Yakuza 0 on PC after hearing so much hype for the series, and I love it. I really like the bite-sized beat 'em up battles, and the overall story is surprisingly interesting.

I loved 0, thought kiwami was really great despite not being as good as 0, and am LOVING Kiwami 2 more than 0. Throwing dudes around with ragdoll physics from 2005 with all the wonky flying around is so satisfying.

Starting to look a lot like Cyberpunk 2078

I'm not that rich mate, I'll only be making 25,000 Imperial credits a month and we all know thats only slightly better than intergalactic pesos.

What on Earth are you talking about?! Even children know Trumpesos are the official currency of the Northa Galactica Empire.

Have you been living under an Amazon rock on Walmart's Mars?

Look man to be honest I'm not sure the copy of the game I got is even legit. This was the free controller it came with.
