Cut Guida?

Cutting him is a bit harsh.

Just let him fight lower tier guys in the undercards or Facebook so he doesn't ruin the main card.

Too late. Honestly, GSP does pretty much the samething. How either have a strong fan base is beyond me. GSP use to be exciting one time. I think judges need to be held accountable and rules need to be changed. Not fighting shouldn't win fights.

I used to like him. Recently he's lost me as a fan but no cutting him. That's a little nuts.

I understand cutting someone after a win would likely never happen but considering what has been happening lately with the trend of making bouts more on tickets sales then who truly deserves it then Guida is walking a fine line. One more performance like that which culminated in a loss could send him packing...

He just won DICKHEAD's
He is not getting cut

Im aint saying cut the guy. I just cant stand him.

After 15 minute of jumping around, throwing his hair back and forth, throwing terrrible combinations and taking Hioki down and doing no damage he then procedes to run around the ring with his hands up acting as if he's dominated.

Dont even get me started on how much his backstage antics with Gray pissed me off.

Other than some haters and a few unloyal fans turned against him after the Gray fight, he is still a popular fighter coming off a win.
They wouldn't dream of cutting him, and he might be next in line for a title shot or at least a #1 contenders fight

BJ Penn fan, right?

I didn't see the fight. But if it went down like it sounds like it did, he did the same to Pettis - effectively derailing another exciting fighter. I just don't think he'll get good fights. Eventually he'll catch an up and comer and get battered to a pulp

Are you comparing Guida's style to GSP's???

I hope I am interpreting your post wrong...

As for the OP.

Yes. Cut guida.

Won't happen though.

The bosses need to talk him and tell him he needs to fight not avoid a fight, that fans are important and give him a warning. Cutting him would be extreme.

Good thing the fans were cheering him the whole time, and the people in the arena are what matter, not some ***gy kid who probably streams the ppvs anyways.

I wouldn't say cut

what I would do though is place him on the facebook fight and once it comes time for him to sign a new contract offer him half or less of what he makes now and say "take it or leave it"

I knew he was gonna win by lay n pray but anyways that Hioki guy can box

They don't have to cut him just put him far away from being televised unless he gets ktfo'ed then they can show that during a break

I think cut is a bit harsh (and I'm a serious Clay hater), but Dana should make it clear that if he lays and prays again, he is banned from the UFC for life, and he can take his circus show somewhere else. Until that wonderful day happens, he should be fighting on Facebook or Fuel TV instead of FX against UFC newcomers. Hopefully he loses via a (T)KO or submission so the UFC can cut him.

Also, anyone comparing GSP to Guida is an idiot. Look at Condit's face after their fight and compare it to Hioki after his fight with Guida, and tell me all GSP did was LnP.
Lay 'n' Clay
Clay's probably trademarked that already.

He's not anywhere near the #1 contender spot at FW, and he never will be.

Another question is who would want to fight him after this?
