Curtis Blaydes getting a raw deal

Blaydes is the sacred cow in the UFC that can outwrestle Jones. Jones is probably just going to poke him in the eye and you guys are going to freak out.
Or just outclass him on the feet. Jon has never been wrestle-fucked and he appears to be immune to that tactic.

Stipe puts more butts in seats at the end of the day, it's a business. I'm sure if he beats Pavlovich he'll get to fight for the title next regardless if Jon vacates or not.
Yeah..

It’s a little ridiculous how some people will say..

Glover deserves a rematch after losing his belt on his very FIRST defence.

But they’ll turn around and say auto rematches are bullshit for everybody else.

There are actually clowns in here advocating for Alex V to rematch Islam, while stalling out the entire FW division. And expecting Yair to defend his Interim belt while Alex fucks around a little more in a different weight class.

You won’t find any such contradictions from me. I actually understand the definition of the word hypocrite. And I’m abhorrent about people that don’t.

My opinion as such never changes on shit like that. No, this person deserves this while that other person does not.

A fighter that was a scumbag yesterday is still a scumbag today.

Most of you have zero concept about right and wrong. And just apply it when and where it suits your purposes.

You beg for the money fights with one hand. Then are outraged when the legit next guy in line gets fucked out of his/her earned opportunities.

Stipe is my second fav fighter EVER. I’ve said he does not deserve a TS after losing to Ngannou unless he wins a fight first. But, if he gets it.. I’m cheering for him. Find a quote of mine saying anything different.

Stipe's a big name (greatest UFC HW champion) whose shelf life is expiring.

If Blaydes keeps winning, he'll get his shot.
My guess is (barring extenuating circumstances) that he needs one more victory.

stipe is a money draw? since when?

id never describe him as someone who puts butts in the seats

He is the most well rounded HW today and getting better every fight. His striking is looking really good lately. He could take the belt from anyone imo. Unfortunately he's not very good at "playing the game". I feel bad for him...

Maybe he should try fighting more...?
lmao Stipe is much more inactive than Blaydes and they are giving a title shot to him. The problem with Blaydes is that he's actually good and can beat Jones while 2023 Stipe doesn't stand a chance.

He drops the ball when he fights the top guys. If he gets past Pavlo he should get one though.

blaydes has had a couple chances to get to the big dance.

so far he has fallen short, maybe he get the win in his next fight, but i wouldn't put money on it.

the guy has so much potential, if he doen't get it done pretty soon he will end up in gatekeeper land

His last fight was a year ago in that fluke injury "win" against Aspinall. Before that was Daukaus, and before that Roz way back in 2021. That's his current streak.

Go beat a current contender if you want a title shot lol. If he gets by Sergei, okay he's got a recent win. Let's talk then.

7 out of 8 with really no one else to fight, much more worthy than Gane.

he’s boring, but deserves that shot and is a bad matchup for the current champ

It's weird. Blaydes never got a following on Sherdog but now he is the guy to beat Jones.
To beat the unbeaten Jon Jones. Man who KO'd Cormier and never got held down by him. Blaydes is the man to end his unbeaten streak all of a sudden..... by.... holding him on the mat? All 248 lbs of him? Cormier couldn't hold down 225 lbs of him but all of a sudden he's easy to hold down for 5 solid rounds??

I like Curtis. I really do. But where does this faith in him come from??

If Curtis can beat Jon so can Stipe.

Jon walked up to Cormier when he had never met him and said "I bet I can take you down". If you think he's ALSO the guy who's going to be held down for 5 rounds, I don't think you're looking at it realistically.

If Blaydes can't score a flash KO, he has very little chance.

So he has very little chance. But I'd watch.

The UFC are constantly trying to keep this guy away from a title fight. Yes, he has a black eye on his record with a KO loss to Derrick Lewis, but he's 3-0 again since that loss. He clearly deserves to fight for the title far more than Stipe Miocic, but my guess is the UFC will keep him as far from Jon Jones as they can.
You can bet that he won't be in line for a title shot before Miocic. Champ shit only.

Sergei deserves it more than Blaydes does. Longer win streak, better wins including beating Lewis who is Blaydes last loss, and is ranked ahead of Blaydes.

Luckily they're fighting in a month and we'll have a legitimate #1 contender.

Stipe would beat up Curtis Blaydes and Ciryl Gane today.

Anyone saying Blaydes is the guy to beat jones is parroting what some other guy said and has no good reason to believe that.

‘He’s a wrestler!’ Lol

It would be a good fight against whoever but let's see if he can avoid getting KTFO by Pavlovich. He has shown to be vulnerable to power punchers.
