Maybe success takes some of the criticism away. If Curtis becomes a dominant champ there my be less of this. However, there was still plenty of it for GSP and Khabib so it will never go away entirely.

Both khabib and GSP generally remain active and exciting in their execution of the gameplan, and exhibit world class grappling skills (and striking skills for GSP) while doing so.

IMO, Curtis typically just grinds it out in dull fashion, and never really exhibits any interesting techniques or takes any risks, and his approach and behavior in the fight leaves me feeling more like he just barely successfully panic wrestles to save his ass and try to get a decision, as opposed to intemtionally dominatimg the shit out of his opponents from bell to bell. And to boot, he comes off as having a dull personality, which skews people's view of his fights dramatically.

I will admit that i have found some of his fights entertaining, especially more recently, but they are a rarity.

That's my take, i assume other haters think something similar.

Seems like an alright dude, i just am not a fan of his style and approach

No one shits on Khabib because as soon as the fight gets to the mat everyone knows brutality is soon to ensue. People used to shit on gsp all the time during his run, it was only after he retired and became the offical goat did people forget he utilized wrestling more often than not to win fights.
