Cung Le T Shirts for STrike Force vs Shamrock

The hats are nice. I prefer the Cung Le tee shirts on the Throwdown site. As for the wrist bands......do people still wear those things?

I'll be rooting for CUNG LE!!! He may be a huge underdog but I hope he kicks Shamrock's ass!!

People still rock wristbands here in CA...but they usually only wear one and the trend seems to be worn more on the forearms and elbows than on the wrists. I see quite a few bartenders wearing knoxx wristbands in Northern Ca at a lot the clubs and bars here.

I prefer the Knoxx Cung Le shirts over Throwdown...Why would you wear a shirt that looks like an advertisement with all these misc logos all over it??!! That I dont understand... So...Why would I wear a shirt that has www.BrFlooring.com on it?? hahaha

And I'm extremely surprised that Cung Le has skulls on his Throwdown shirt??!! In the Asian culture, wearing skulls and crossbones is considered bad luck, bad karma and a jinx...and if youre Asian, you know how supersitious they are with everything!

i didnt know it was bad luck for Asians. did someone ask Cung that?
'
i guess Asians won't wear afflciton then

I don't know what you mean. I don't see any skulls or ads on this Throwdown shirt. I don't know why anyone would wanna wear a shirt that looks like a nascar racer either. Maybe there is an older shirt you were referring to. This one is pretty sweet.

FYI - I tried the insert image option and it didn't work. Doesn't seem to be any different thant copying and pasting the link anyhow. What gives?

The samurai head is dead...his skull is inside the helment. And Cung Le isnt even Japanese so I dunno why Throwdown would even use a Samurai instead of a Vietnamese warrior.

This is the shirt that I saw for sale with all the ads on it.

Im not too fond of Throwdowns new designs but I used to like the older designs....Too many Throwdown logos all over and then the words Throwdown in the front and Throwdown in the back...I think people get the hint that its a Throwdown shirt when someone wears them.

Yep asians are a superstitious lot. My granny saw a skull on my shirt and asked if I wanted my future kids to become demons. She also advised me not to leave the house for like 3 days after Chinese new year. Gotta love grandmas.

I like the sound of Cungle, kinda reminds me of **** jungle....

Yups...I heard Asians cant clean their house the week of new years becuase it basicly clean out the new chi and luck out of your house, wear any skulls and devils because of many numerous reasons, they light up firecrackers to scare off bad spirts and bad energy, clean off and finish your food plate or bowl because your future wife and kids will have no food to eat or they will have some serious diseases or born deformed, etc..... the list goes on and on and on!!!

Thats the reason why Las Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe and all casinos decorate and cater to the Asian superstitions... MGM in Las Vegas had their main entrance the shape of a Lions head where you would walk into its mouth to go inside the casino. Asians would refuse to go there because it was bad luck to walk inside an entrance that was an animals mouth...For years, MGM lost all their Asian clients to other neighboring casinos... Eventually they spent MILLIONS to remodel and replace the Lions Mouth as an entrance to regain their Asian clients.

Thats the reason why I was so surprised that Cung Le allowed Throwdown to make such a design for him.. Im sure his family and parents didnt approved of him wearing stuff like that cuz I'm sure they will Nag and Nag about all these Asians Supersititions to him....lol

BR Flooring is on Cung's shirt just like Ameritc
Capitol is on it cause they love the sport and want to help support current and future champions. They really do not want a phone call or email from anyone looking at the shirt but in order to deduct the support they have to be on the shirt. Unfortunately fighters or not quite there yet as far as pay and every business that wants to help young starting and future fighters should be applauded not ripped on.

As far as Cungs Asian background he is bringing back real martial arts to mma and showing that a master can do moves that we all learned young in tae kwon do and kung fu if it is practiced and done right. I only wish Cung would of started younger in MMA Back when he was king of San Shou and K-1
