International Cuban coast guard kills 4 americans

What would Donald Trump do if he were aware of a massive ship coming to America loaded from bow to stern with fentanyl but could get assurances from that crew of smugglers that they would agree to fuck enough kids so they could get safe passage to be able to sell all that fentanyl to Americans? Decisions... Decisions.

Unlikely.

Cayos Falcones is on the northern coast of Cuba but still pretty far from Key West. My estimate is ~100 miles away.

I could see partying morons venturing out 10, maybe 20 miles away but 100 miles is way too much. That'd take hours and that's going in a straight line and at a pretty high rate of speed.
I think it’s much more than that, boats aren’t particularly fast nor do they have much range. It was a deliberate one way trip without option of returning. Even on a fast boat, it must have taken hours in a straight line.

Brother I have seen some of the dumbest shit alive perpetrated by drunk boaters.
I'll tell you right now, I was probably one of them (when I used to drink). But the thought of, "hey Andrew, do you have your gun on you? yea, that Military boat is getting a little close. let me see if I can hit it from here..." never crossed my mind.

But yes, you may be right. Alcohol makes people F'ing stupid.

TDS again, folks. 1st post on page 3. Kinda thought we would see it by page 2 honestly. Worms in the brain.

Did you even read my very simple explanation as to why you are very mistaken?

People cruise that far all the time!

You don't spend much time around boats do you?

I've come down with a syndrome of derangement after I got convinced to vote for Donald Trump. But I would have been totally insane to vote for Kamala Harris.

do they? my limited experience is on cruise ships, small fishing boats, and san pedro to catalina trips (33 miles). My cursery knowledge about cuba and florida keys is about 200 miles through florida strait, could be wrong, even at 100 miles, that's awfully far in terms of cruising range of boats, especially small boats. I dont think it's very probable that you drift 100 miles on boat, especially in the morning, because you'll likely run out of fuel going back.

I spent 23 years in the Coast Guard. I could totally see it happen.

Dudes in personal 30-40ft boats run 100 miles offshore to tuna fish all the time.

100 miles with a speedboat that tops out at 60-70 knots is 2ish hours....that's assuming they're coming from FL.

Exactly, they go out that far with the specific purpose of fishing.

I'm not saying it's technically impossible, I'm saying it's unlikely that drunk partiers are going to spend hours going the max speed on their boat in a straight line for hours.

I'm saying it's absolutely likely.

Drunk morons with fast boats drive fast. And get lost...and hit charted bridges, buoys, boats...
