News Cub Swanson will fight rising prospect and former kickboxer Giga Chikadze at a UFC event, May 1st.

I would love nothing more than to see Cub get a submission victory. Hes got the skills, no doubt, but it's not in his DNA like striking is.
 
Cub is either a stepping stone for an up and comer prospect or he derails a hype train....I like him for that...
 
Really hope Cub gets another highlight reel finish on this one .

Giga has been a disappointment to my extremely high expectations I had, which I partly blame for Giga himself, his big talk and how he has carried himself

He's gotten tons of great matchups but only has like what, one finish?
 
I've been rallying for cub and that last win was nice, pretty big on chikadze tho and suspect he takes this one.
 
Cubs last win was great - was happy for him even tho I backed Pineda.

That said - I'll prolly back Giga!
 
Fuck yeah. This is gonna be a banger. I know Giga is the much fresher guy, but I hope Cub keeps impressing like in his last fight.
 
I am not a big fan of Cub, but this guy is a warrior. He will fight anyone. Dude is tough as nails. Good luck.

Cub vs tucker was a more compelling matchup.
