EDIT: ayo hol up, which games was he picked in the minor? He was only present in 2 games in the minor that I can see (VG beating Demolition and Demolition beating BOOM)
EDIT2: he's 33% winrate in the major right now if you count the game he just lost: Liquid picked him and got shrekt, Fnatic picked him (but lost the lane hard), and Mineski just tried him

do you have a site where you see these pick stats? I'm just using Liquipedia at the moment.

Not to mention, Rogue was obviously the right side from the beginning. Not only did my "strictly numbers" model indicate that, but also every single intangible factor was in their favour. ECS is a huge deal for Rogue, and just another online league for Liquid. Liquid are in the middle of a busy schedule of traveling to international events etc, and in general get overrated like all big name teams do; degens bet on their favorite teams.

That wasn't my reasoning for the bet. I would have gone into greater detail if this were an e-sports forum. People had asked me where I get my esport leans and I posted a timely bet that ultimately didn't win.

Rogue was not obviously the right side, that's absurd. Did you watch the match? Liquid kept buying up in the first map like morons because they thought their superior individual skills would get them through. That's when I saw the opportunity to live bet them at evens when they are a much better team. They wiped the floor iwth them on the second map which I had thought was validation for my bet. Liquid is nowhere near my favorite team but if you are trying to say Rogue is a better team than Liquid I suppose we can just respectfully disagree. The third map to me was a complete toss, no idea how they let themselves get completely outplayed.

You didn't understand my post, at all. Liquid was a -900 favourite in an online match that means very little to them, and means the world to their opponent. Nobody is saying that Rogue is a better team.

You said it yourself; Liquid kept forcing in stupid situations and playing sloppy. That's because they dont care about these games.

Yup, Dreamhack/Stockholm Major. If you're good at reading the styles of Dota teams I'd appreciate some help capping these games because my knowledge of team idiosyncrasies is VERY basic.

I have bunch of Fnatic +1.5 @1.7 and some ML @3.05. I dont do o/u maps but yeah VP hasnt looked great lately.
