creatine and weight loss ?

    some of you know i recentley had some major knee surgery and due to the injury was not able to train as i like becuse of this i gained about 25 pounds (i fight at 125) i was thinking of takeing creatine becuse i heard its good for geting stroger but i want to get back to weight to fight will the creatine make this a problem

    The creatine is going to make your muscles retain more water than they normally would, thus making cutting weight harder.

    Creatine won't inhibit fat loss, though, so if you want to take it up until a week before a fight, that's how long it usually takes for the retained water to be removed completely, but to be safe, you should probably kick it 10 days before.
