There was a time when some Sranc got in my face while I was walking home. I wanted to break his jaw. Instead I gripped the rosary in my pocket and walked away. I considered it a major victory.
Did the rosary give me special powers to make me immune to the taunts of some drunk ass Sranc? Or did it just serve as a physical clear annd present reminder to obey the Supreme Commandment?
Honestly, because I respect you enough to speak honestly, its my opinion that you sub-consciously believe the rosary beads garner you some kind of power or protection which is why it was your instinct to clutch it.
You already remembered the supreme commandment before you ever you ever touched the rosary. You clutched rosary as a way to garner the necessary strength to carry out the commandment.
Also, rosary beads are pagan practices, specifically witchcraft, originating in Babylon. They are not endorsed anywhere in the Bible by the Most High, the Messiah, the disciples or anyone. By pointing out the origin of rosary beads thats not me judging your heart or condemning you. Thats just me giving you the truth about things like I'm commanded to do.
You talk disparagingly about "self-appointed prophets" and I can see your point. There's been alot of bad priests, ministers, and even popes. But you are postioinng yourself as a "self-appointed judge". At the same you are ignoring the fact that the human element transcends all tribalism if you take people at a case by case basis.
How else should we talk about self-annointed prohets and men who set themselves up as special intermediaries between God and man? How else should we talk about people who accept positions that put themselves over world affairs while claiming to speak for God?
Seriously, how should I refer to them?
Remove the spritual blinkers from your eyes and stop leannig so heavily on dogma. Focus the effect of what person does- the meat his matter as it pertains to our Lord instruction- instead of obssessing over the garnish (how he prays, the kinnd of church he prays in).
You tell me to focus on what a person does. Isn't that what I'm doing? I'm focusing on whether an action follows the commandments or not. You're focused on whats in a persons heart as if actions don't speak for themselves.
You brought up the supreme commandment which is to love your God with all your mind, heart, and soul. What does it mean to love your God? According to the Messiah to love your God means to love his commandments. That means you don't trivialize them as dogma and unnecessary. You don't knowingly violate his commandments and then defend those actions by referencing whats in your heart. And you definitely don't chastize a follower of the Most High for defending and upholding the righteousness of those holy commandments. You don't call that person arrogant and accuse him of a judging another man's heart.
Niether you or me can truly judge another mans heart, yet you insist on being self-appointed judge of other Christians. The Christ-body is not a static thing, not all hands or legs. It's an evolving aspect of many tradition and cultures.
Im sorry but thats just not true. The Most High said he changeth not. He said He us the same today, tomorrow, and forever. No where in the old or new testement do any prophets, (righteous) kings, jews, or Messiah's claim that congregation of the Lord is an ever evolving blend of different cultures and traditions. Im not judging your heart but theres no truth to that idea whatsover. Its a lie that leads millions astray ever year.
I'm not your judge but it's my commandment to speak the truth in the face of lies.
