Terence Crawford-Hank Lundy averaged 983K, peaked at 1.071M

Leo Santa Cruz vs Kiko Martinez averaged a terrible 297K.

Both cards were on at the same time while both fights didn't actually overlap.
The OKC-GS basketball game was on at the same time and did 5.3M viewers, the best for an NBA regular season game since 2013.

Why the fuck was LSC fighting Kiko in the first place?

LSCs last fight averaged 1.217M on ESPN and 355k on ESPN Deportes bringing a total average of 1.572M while peaking at 1.614M on ESPN and 453K making a peak of 2.067M.
I think certain channels just dont entertain certain fans.
That fight shouldve done at least 500k on a bad night.

Verdejo-Silva averaged 886K peaked at 947K

That basketball game was a pretty big deal.. hard to compete with that during such a season like this..

Haymon knows he fked up by taking Santa Crystal on Showtime after drawing huge on Spike

On the one hand I hate to see bad ratings because it could mean less televised boxing. On the other hand, I don't know what else can snap boxing promoters and networks out of their dated thinking that people should pay for uncompetitive matches.

The Leo/KIKO was a fight made for TV. People missed out. Shit was a Barn Burner and better than everything else shown on Sat.

This should teach showtime not to air fights at the same time as HBO. The lsc fight does 500-700k on another night

Martinez isn't well known in the states, coming off a bad KO loss while LSC was looking like a killer. Lundy is a decent enough journeyman who made a name on FNF and is pretty well known so fighting Crawford was a good match. Sucks about the NBA game, because that was a legit awesome game and people watching didn't want to turn.
