I know we were all on the Conor kool aid but after seeing that, Cerrone is pretty solid at WW and we all know he can take a punch, similar to Diaz he takes a bit to warm up and on the ground no doubt he would catch Conor with a slick sub.

Before everyone was saying he would destroy Cerrone (mostly because of glass body) but I dunno, Cerrone is badass...

Cerrone would weather the early storm and tko, or submit him. People seem to forget he has a great chin.

Im not a McGregor fan at all but i def believe a fight with Cerrone wouldve been alot better for Conor than against Diaz. Cerrone is usually the one who mentally breaks first. I think Conor wouldve hav gotten into Cowboy's head and he wouldve wilted under the pressure like the FWs

Maybe he could have beat Cerrone but who knows. Cerrone has a granite chin too and his power is much less forgiving than Nates

Cowboy would hurt McG, and if he chose to he'd take him down and submit him.

Cerrone has excellent takedowns and is a beast on the mat.

On a side note I really want to see Cerrone vs Nate again, see how it goes this time.

I dislike Conor, but I doubt that Cerrone could have survived that first-round blitz that Diaz endured. Cerrone has folded in the past against elite strikers.

If Conor lands that body punch the fight is as good as over.

i was never on the Conor Koolaid but cerrone wouldn't stand a chance. Conor is strong and those shots were hurting Nick to the body and head, the lefts, the rights, the uppercuts. any other fighter would crumble. conor still has that power and word on the street is he has decent ground skills but was rocked and just moving and thinking 2 steps behind nate. you could see it he was still fighting to sit up when nate already was in mount. but whatever. next time just root for your fighter but don't talk shit. simple as that.

Conor wouldve punched his head off his shoulders.... he doesnt respond under fire as well as Nate
