What are your thoughts on this. Nate pretty much manhandled Cowboy. And Nate struggled with Conor until he found his range. I'm thinking Conor would have busted Cowboy up similar to what RDA did. I know that sounds a bit MMA math...ish but yea. I believe Conor would have TKO'd Cowboy in the first round. He doesn't seem to do well against technical strikers.

Conor could KO cowboy, but Cowboy could take him down and get the sub also.

Well.......Cowboy is a tough dude, but has slow starts. Conor had flashy starts and slows down. So the further the fight gets......the more the chance grows Cowboy will beat Conor. I like the thought of them facing eachother. And after that, an immediate rematch of course!

There is no evidence to suggest that McGregor's punch is hard enough to bother the big boys.

So, after viewing his white belt standard BJJ vs Nate, I'm going to agree with Cowboy.

You would've been KO'd or dropped by body shots lmfao.

I'd love to see Cowboy vs Conor regardless

That body shot Conor hit Nate in the start of the second round would make Cowboy go to the ground with pain.

I wouldn't describe Nate x Cowboy as a 'manhandle' considering Nate out boxed him. For his part, Cerrone had some nice leg kicks and trips but didn't have the fight IQ to adjust his plan and lost fighting Nate's fight.

What RDA did to Pettis is a manhandling.

We've seen Cowboy happy to oblige a grappling exchange and clinch before. Nate almost never does, even when it would benefit him.

Anybody who is capable of taking McTapsTwice down should, and they will have a good shot at submitting him. Mendes is much smaller than guys like Nate and Cowboy, had no gas tank and no training camp - but it was the first time we clearly saw McTapsTwice is a liability on the ground.

I can't come up with a good reason that Cowboy doesn't dominate McTapsTwice in the clinch and on the mat.

I think Conor could have had a better shot against Cowboy cuz Conor uses body shots. You can't really say what would happen for certain but that's what I think would happen.

I would have rather watched this fight at ufc 200, both have a decent chance of finishing one another

Nate "man handled" Cerrone? That's news to me, lol.

This.

Cowboy has a hell of a chin but that was a devastating body shot and Cowboy doesn't take those well.

I don't see Conor KOing Cowboy but he could TKO him.

But Cowboy has decent hands, really good thai kicks, decent wrestling and black belt level BJJ.

They both have the tools to beat the other, itd be a great scrap.

Would much rather see this than Nate/Conor 2.

cowboy looked good in his last fight
i don't think mcg can take those devastating kicks without going down

Cowboy's best round against Nate was the third. He wasn't letting his offense go before as it felt like Nate had Cowboy doubting himself coming into the fight.

Point being Cowboy used to be able to hang in and take shots. He was never in danger of being finished by Nate although he did get punched around pretty good.

But his ability to take body shots obviously is a big problem now. And he's never had great head movement. Still, he has the leg kicks and the submission game to get a quick finish. But he has some weaknesses that could be exploited fast as well. I'd put the odds at about a coin flip.

Go get some red panties Donald Cer-ro-ne!

Cowboy by reach, cardio, kicks, subs, Jackson.

Shit i'll watch that fight too.

Call me crazy, but i don't think Conor is as scared of him as he seems to think he is.

Cowboy cracks under the spotlights. Oh and bodykicks.

Yea, "manhandled" is a bit hasty. I guess I'm just remembering the highlights of where Nate won most of the exchanges. But Cowboy did win maybe a round I believe.

I'd pick Conor to beat Donald 9 time out of 10, he wouldn't have took the shots Diaz would, he'd have been done in one.

Cowboy won the third. He was never manhandled. He just foght ignorantly and got busted up when pressured and while unable to dictate distance.

He fought on autopilot after getting hurt and didn't use his best tools. He definitely lost, but he was far from manhandled.

Pettis and RDA destroyed Cerrone with a body shot.
Conor is good at body shots.

Would be a good fight. Cowboy has more ways to win.
