Usually both opponents need double-digit losses for it to be a BMF fight, and Colby doesn't meet that criteria..but you raise am interesting point. Maybe Dana will make an exception this time.

This is true of every Masvidal fight kind of like Nate Diaz. But yeah the anticipation is about Colby and Masvidals drama. In terms of the matchup and it's impact on the MMA landscape it's a dumb fight. Colby is one of the best WW's, Masvidal is not the matchup is based solely on WWE shit.

I think its the perfect matchup. Both lost to Usman twice and got nowhere else to go. They wont sniff a title shot as long as Usman is still champ. Just let them bang bro

Fun fight on many levels.

It is quite humorous, though, that both are 0-2 to Usman in relatively recent showings, yet both, especially Colby, think this fight gets them towards a third.

It's actually refreshing that a fight fans want to see is headlining a PPV.

If the fight is compelling, people will tune in. Tired of meaningless belts being handed out merely to justify selling a PPV

But I don't think it's overhyped; the backstory is great and they both lost to the champ twice. Not like they lost to scrubs.

I know. But he needs to fight him. Masvidal is backwards. Khamzat gonna run through all. He beats Covington then he gets a shot at Usman. That is an awesome fight!
