Social Covid cases rising in US as officials plan to restrict booster vaccines

I meant in a sense measures were too strict in many countries for long time, not reasonable at all - But yes, of course vaccine reduced deaths significantly, hospitals were full in the beginning, many died - some people here are still not getting that vaccine was not about preventing Covid, but reducing its complications and deaths. It is much more risky and worse health wise to get covid without having vaccine, long and short term.
Better to err too far on the side of caution than the other way around though, don't you think?

Not been vaccinated in awhile. My wife has. She got it first and has long covid.
They say if you are vaccinated you need to keep up on the boosters. That is terrible that you wife has long Covid, hopefully she improves at some point.

Yes, I think say the same, generally we did ok - but some things were illogical depending on the country later on, when you are not allowed to go outside, to nature, masks even outdoors for a long time etc. I did not feel any of these restrictions since I spent most of the time in Thailand, it was paradise there, so I was spoiled :). But in Europe, it was problematic.

Starting to see cases again. Seems to be a harsher strain than the last one. Stay away from sick people.
