Social Covid cases rising in US as officials plan to restrict booster vaccines

the covid vaccine nearly killed my ex, she is now permanently disabled and is unable to leave her apartment except for medical appointments. Its only now after years of the doctors saying you are crazy nothing is wrong with you, to now admit that it was the vaccine. Not only did it destroy her body but her mental health has become so bad she is entirely incapable of having any form of logical conversation.
From the vaccine? Mental and physical breakdown from the vax?

For what it’s worth as a healthcare provider who actually saw patients daily during the height of Covid (most practices stopped all “elective procedures” and only did video visits), I’ll offer my perspective.

The first two waves were like nothing any of us have seen in our lifetimes. The hospital I worked for had make shift ICU’s in non icu areas. People were dying every day. I still don’t agree with the government’s tyranny in response to this but that’s a different topic.

Since then I’ve only seen one case serious enough to refer to the hospital (in 2023). The guy is in his late 70’s, smokes, has COPD and CHF. He was out in a few days.

This past season the flu was much worse.

I’ve had my three Pfizer shots in 2020 and I’ve had Covid twice. I will personally not ever get another Covid booster. I always get my flu shot every year.

I’ve also seen plenty of people get long Covid symptoms ranging from mild to severe from that vaccine. Of course they’d get it from Covid too though.
People forget that the virus was dead AF when it first arrived. That shit was no joke until it mutated for our benefit.

Haha, talking about fucking covid in 2025.
I don't understand this mindset. The threat is greatly mitigated, but it still killed twice as many people as the flu did in the 2023-24 season in the USA (~57K vs. ~28K). We still encourage vulnerable populations to get the flu booster shot every year.

I don't personally believe it is necessary anymore to risk complication to children or healthy non-obese adults in the 18-65 age range who don't suffer from diseases or weaknesses (as of the cardiovascular or pulmonary systems) that risk serious complication if they contracted COVID, same as with the flu now, because risk factors have changed, due to the disease becoming endemic like the flu, but why would you demean an effort to raise awareness among the public for other groups to do the same as we do with the flu?

You may or have not but natural immunity is the best avenue……I have a protein enzyme that combats certain viruses including HIV , I had a form of skin disease as a kid it was rare only 1% of the population had it maybe even less ……many family members got sick taking vaccine the ones who didn’t get the vaccine didn’t get sick and never got the virus again bc there own immunity fought off the virus itself.

I can’t get HIV bc my body kills the unwanted substances it recognizes what’s nit supposed to be there . This is really important in cellular genetics….it might be a key for future viruses only a few ppl in the world have it ,i stop the replication of the invading virus nothing can replicate in my body if I don’t want it there .
I don’t know the specifics of your situation but I don’t think that is how people who are immune to HIV , are immune to it, it’s not that the body recognizes it, it’s that you don’t have the ccr5 port for the virus to attach to , therefore it can’t multiply.

Please correct me if I’m wrong sherdoctors .

Anyways pretty cool for you to not be able to get the HIV

EDIT; I looked up what is was remembering apparently it’s the ccr5 receptor not mRNA

The Federal Government has literally paid out less than $100,000 total for damages due to the COViD vaccine.

So, not only are vaccine makers immune from liability. The Govt refuses to compensate US citizens for medical expenses due to the Covid vaccine CICP

Fucking scam

They’ll never admit they failed us

I backed out of a meal with my wife's 90 year old grandad because I realized when shopping I couldn't smell the candles properly lol

There is absolutely no reason for these guys to embrace pigheaded ignorance. I, personally, don't need to shit my pants if I get Covid, I've had it a few times, but I at least need to think.

Feels like a lot of people want to excuse themselves from any responsibility at all, and that's dumb.

Her life was destroyed, not only do they gaslight her about everything, she can't work or support herself, she gets a pathetic sum of 800 to live off, while she has been waiting over a year after finally getting a doctor to admit anything to get real assistance. Meanwhile we have millions coming into this country with open pockets and no questions asked whatseover.

With regard to the government. They didn't fail at all, they just lied about what their intentions are.

For the last year, I am noticing someone in my friend group or age group 25-45 drops dead, there is one thing most of these deaths have in common. Nobody knows what happened, dying suddenly so often is not normal. I believe with every passing year this is going to get worse.

I didn't go and see my Grandma when I had a cold when she lived 2 doors down from my mum. It's called love and common decency.

No, I just have greater-than-zero self awareness.

It's not impressive at all, except relative to some really, really stupid people who want to represent something they don't even understand and couldn't possibly quantify.

I call them contrarians, and they're almost always dumb as rocks.

Sounds like you might be interested in joining their cult of disinformation if you haven't already.

You probably have.

Maybe it's just us not wanting our elderly relatives to die because of the weirdo cult.

What a strange notion haha

We already know to an absolute certainty what the "don't trust the science" mentality leads to.

All right, we don't need to trust absolutely everything we're told in every single instance, but railing against provably lethal illnesses and provably effective treatments just to make ourselves feel clever or like we're out-thinking the world is the drizzling shits.

It's a cult of self-defeating narcissism from a bunch of wannabe know it alls.

Just hear me out they just need 2 weeks to lessen the spread...
The idea wasn’t a bad one, they just completely fucked up the execution of it. Instead of flattening the curve they delayed the curve. NY could’ve shut down briefly and everywhere else should’ve just been on alert and ready to do the same once cases presented themselves. A regional approach would’ve made much more sense than doing it all at once across the nation.

It should’ve been done regionally as cases became present instead of all at once nationally. Where I was at the time there were 0 Covid cases when everything shut down. Wave didn’t come for months later after people were sick and tired of being out of work with nothing to do.
