Or even death?

I could easily imagine a guy in the situation where he's got some health emergency and he refuses IVs because he doesn't want to end up like BJ Penn or Cro Cop. Then... well.. this is kind of a ticking time bomb because it seems like it should happen eventually.

What do you think?

I could easily not imagine that
How can you imagine if you cant see

This hate on USADA is incredible, hate the people who do PED's not the people trying to stop it.

And a doctor administered IV is fine if you're in a dire situation, you will NOT be penalized for that.

Explain Cro Cop?

It's INCREDIBLE to me that EVERRYYYYYOOOONE on this site knows exactly what TRT is (for the most part), and can name every fighter that has been allowed to use it, but it is like not a single person remembers that every person on TRT had a TUE, therapeutic use exemption, and I'm CERTAIN that an IV would be allowed in a dire emergency.

no, you can have an IV if it's medically necessary.

You would be correct

all IV infusions and/or injections of more than 50mL (~3.4 tablespoons) per 6-hour period are prohibited, except for those legitimately received in the course of hospital admissions, surgical procedures or clinical investigations.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Cerrone have a medical exemption for IV use?

The problem isn't necessarily the testosterone replacement therapy. Its replacing what your body would have naturally produced (that it is no longer producing) with about 20 times what it would have produced. That's not replacing - that's juicing.

I could imagine this. I would imagine that the fighter would be suspended by the shady USADA even in death.
